Fortune telling by means of cards is a very old tradition. Cartomancy, as it is properly called, is a very flexible form of fortune-telling that sometimes gives rise to the most imaginative and precise answers.
Its origins are a mystery, and although it is historically recorded that Tarot decks were a game of high society in the 15th century, there is the rumour that its birth dates far back in time… to the time of the pharaohs and the magic of the Egyptian Empire.

I am not here to put my crap onto you, to get your crap on me, or to lecture you on the finer points of tarot- my focus is on reading, my goal on clarity. I work with several tarot decks such as the Marseilles, the Sola-Busca, and the Waite-Smith, but also with playing cards, the Lenormand, and some art cards.
I was once asked for three tips to on how to prepare for a Cartomantic reading: I get it; it’s tempting to be really general, “Universe, please tell me what the fuck I should do!”, but you wouldn’t show up to the Oracle of Delphi without one, so, #1: always have a question. We go to a reader for clarity and insight, it’s not so easy to hear clearly if you’re all cloudy inside. So, #2: take a moment to do some meditation before. Even two minutes helps. #3: Be brave. Ask at least one question that scares the shit out of you.
In my practice of divination, my primary focus and intention is to reveal and explore your voice and your power arising from within.
Each spread I use will connect you with both your conscious and unconscious self. The cards act as a powerful mirror. I use different decks depending on the matter, but I always use the Medicine of the Animals to start any reading and help you to move towards what you need to ask.
We need clarity, understanding, and awareness when it comes to life’s events to know how to best apply our agency, or power, well. Looking at both the context and what is arising for you, I seek to provide a safe, gentle, and peaceful atmosphere for this exploration.
